Southend-on-Sea City Council is seeking a permanent full-time Social Worker to join its Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team within the Department of Children and Learning. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with CWD experience who are passionate about supporting children and families with complex needs.

In this role, you will:

Deliver high-quality casework and assessments for children with disabilitiesProvide support to families while maintaining a strong safeguarding approachPrepare care plans and reports for court proceedingsCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external agenciesAct as the lead sensory Social Worker and undertake relevant training

Key Details:

Salary: £39,152-£45,091 (no movement - please inform candidates before submission)Location: Southend-on-Sea Civic Centre (minimum 2 days/week on-site)Contract: Permanent, full-timeRequirements: Must have CWD experience, a valid UK driving licence, and access to a car
