Join our dedicated team in Bromley as a Senior Social Worker/Social Practitioner within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This crucial role involves working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, managing complex cases, and providing leadership to junior staff while fostering a supportive environment that promotes best practices in safeguarding.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Providing supervision and guidance to less experienced social workers and practitioners. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the ongoing development of team practices.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working within a MASH environment. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with families and professionals.
