Social Worker - A&I Team - Southend - Must Drive & 2yrs Exp

Southend-on-Sea City Council is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join its Assessment and Intervention (A&I) Team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with at least 2 years of A&I experience who are passionate about supporting children and families.

In this role, you will:

Deliver high-quality assessments and interventions for children and young peopleWork across CIN, CLA, CP, and Section 47 processesEnsure each child has a comprehensive Pathway Plan and risk assessmentContribute to the duty system and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teamsMaintain accurate case records and uphold statutory requirements

Key Details:

Salary: £39,152-£45,091 (no movement - please inform candidates before submission)Location: Southend-on-Sea Civic Centre (minimum 2 days/week on-site)Incentive: One-off £7,500 payment after 3 years and 1 day in postRequirements: Must have 2+ years A&I experience, a valid UK driving licence, and access to a car
