Southend-on-Sea City Council is seeking a Supervising Social Worker to join its Fostering Support Team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified professionals with at least 2 years of current fostering experience who are passionate about supporting foster carers and improving outcomes for children.

In this role, you will:

Provide high-quality support and supervision to foster carersEnsure compliance with fostering regulations and statutory requirementsConduct assessments, reviews, and contribute to care planningCollaborate with multi-agency teams to safeguard childrenMaintain accurate records and contribute to performance reporting

Key Details:

Salary: £39,152-£45,091 (no movement - please inform candidates before submission)Location: Southend-on-SeaContract: Permanent, full-timeRequirements: Must have 2+ years fostering experience, a valid UK driving licence, and access to a car
