As an Adult Social Worker in the Support & Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of individuals’ needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to service users, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate services.
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable adults.

To excel in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in adult social work, particularly in safeguarding and support services.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders.
