Floating Support Worker - Domestic Violence Sector (Hybrid)


Caritas Futures is working with a leading charity to find a dedicated Floating Support Worker based in London to support people affected by domestic abuse. If you're passionate about helping others and have experience in this field, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting survivors of domestic abuse in the community
  • Visiting clients in their temporary accommodation
  • Creating support and safety plans tailored to each person
  • Helping with housing, benefits, and accessing other services
  • Working with other professionals (police, social workers, health teams)
  • Keeping clear and accurate case notes

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with survivors of domestic abuse or vulnerable people
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessments (like DASH), and safety planning
  • Confident working independently and managing your own caseload
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to get one)
