Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to families facing challenges, including parenting support and crisis intervention.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding and family support.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a children's services setting.
