We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Somerset. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families to assess their needs, provide support, and ensure the safety and welfare of children in our community. Your expertise will be essential in implementing safeguarding plans and working towards positive outcomes for families facing challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate documentation and case records in line with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive change.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognised social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England as a qualified social worker. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Families First Team in Somerset, specializing in children's services.
