Children's SSW - Support & Safeguarding Team - Windsor

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Social Worker (SSW) to join our Support & Safeguarding Team in Windsor. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a Children’s SSW, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and young people, developing and implementing tailored support plans, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Providing direct support to children and their families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England).
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage a caseload effectively.
