Social Worker- CWD Team- Kent (Tonbridge)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Tonbridge, Kent. As a Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and their families.
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring that they have access to appropriate resources and services.
  • Collaborating with health professionals, educational institutions, and community organizations to promote the welfare of children with disabilities.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local authority policies and procedures.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
