Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.
  • Implementing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families, ensuring that the voice of the child is central to all decision-making.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, facilitating access to resources and services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to continuously improve practice and service delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the legislation surrounding children with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Proven experience in child protection and working within a multi-agency framework.
