We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our dynamic Fostering team on a permanent basis. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in foster care. You will provide supervision and support to a team of social workers, facilitating their professional development while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and mentoring social work staff, providing guidance on case management and intervention strategies.
  • Conducting regular case reviews and ensuring that assessments and care plans are thorough and effective.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and promote positive outcomes for children and families.

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
