Wrexham Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SW - Fostering Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of foster carers and their suitability for placements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Care Wales.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a fostering or adoption setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child welfare and fostering.
