Children's SW - DAAT Team - Northamptonshire
Join our dedicated Children's SW - DAAT Team in Northamptonshire and make a difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Qualified Social Worker who can provide high-quality support and intervention to those in need. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to promote the welfare and safety of children, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing tailored care plans.
- Conducting home visits and liaising with various stakeholders to gather relevant information.
- Providing support, guidance, and advocacy to children and families to empower them in challenging situations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local policies.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection and safeguarding.
