Join our dedicated Children's Social Work (CSW) Team in Birmingham as a Qualified Social Worker (SP). We are seeking passionate and committed individuals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children in need, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver effective interventions and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and stakeholders. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with local authority policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access necessary resources and services.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection and safeguarding.Additional requirements include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle, as travel within the community is essential.
