We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Learning Disabilities Team in Cambridgeshire. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to identify their needs and preferences.
  • Developing and implementing person-centered support plans that promote independence and well-being.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and community organizations, to ensure holistic support.
  • Providing ongoing monitoring and review of support plans, adapting them as necessary to reflect changes in circumstances.
  • Advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and services.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience working with adults with learning disabilities or similar client groups.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to create effective support plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centered practice.
