We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SW - Assessment Team in Staffordshire. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for undertaking initial assessments and delivering high-quality support to children and families in need. Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are met effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England.
