In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively to safeguard vulnerable children and families, ensuring their well-being and access to necessary support services. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with families, schools, and other agencies to promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing intervention plans that support family preservation and child safety. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
