We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Emotional Health & Wellbeing (EHWB) Sessional Practitioner to join our team.

About the Role:

Role: Emotional Health & Wellbeing (EHWB) Sessional Practitioner
Location: Telford
Contract: 3 months temp
Hours: 15/20 hours

As an EHWB Drop-In Practitioner, you'll be part of a diverse team of professionals and volunteers, all working together to provide targeted interventions for children, young people, and young adults aged 0-25. Through early-intervention techniques, we focus on improving mental health and wellbeing, helping individuals build personal resilience, and empowering them to take control of their mental health journey.

The role is designed around low-intensity therapeutic support, following a brief intervention model. It's all about making a difference by delivering timely, compassionate care that supports young people in managing their mental health in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver drop-in sessions offering low-intensity, evidence-based therapeutic support
  • Provide interventions aimed at improving emotional health and personal resilience
  • Work within a collaborative team of mental health professionals and volunteers
  • Empower young people to take control of their mental health and wellbeing

What We're Looking For:

  • A current DBS on the update service (or the willingness to obtain one)
  • A valid driver's license and access to a car
  • Previous experience in roles related to domestic violence, homelessness, mental health, emotional health, working with children and young people, or other relevant fields (or transferable skills)
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and helping them make positive changes in their lives
