We are currently seeking a dedicated Children's Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Bury. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance to vulnerable children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake complex assessments to identify risks and develop effective intervention plans. Provide direct support to children and families, offering therapeutic interventions and advocacy. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and achieve positive outcomes. Monitor and review cases regularly, making evidence-based decisions to safeguard children. Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and other related activities as required.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration. Proven experience working within a similar role in a children's social care setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to assess and manage risk effectively, prioritizing the safety of children.Additional requirements and benefits:
