We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding team in Bury. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and protecting vulnerable children and families in the community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families Develop and implement care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews Provide direct support and intervention to families in crisis situationsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex casesAdditional requirements and benefits:
