Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring access to appropriate resources and services.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
