Manchester - Social Worker - Children With Disabilities Team
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children With Disabilities Team in Manchester. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and relevant stakeholders.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to appropriate services and resources.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and liaising with other professionals to coordinate care and support.
- Advocating for the rights and needs of children with disabilities within the community.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
