Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Manchester, where you will play a vital role in supporting children with disabilities and their families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of vulnerable children. In this role, you will assess the needs of children and their families, develop tailored care plans, and work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those we serve.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring access to appropriate resources and services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
