Join our dedicated team at Dudley Children’s Social Work - CIC Team, where your expertise can make a real difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a qualified Social Worker with a passion for child welfare and a commitment to promoting the well-being of vulnerable children. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing tailored intervention plans, and ensuring effective service delivery in line with statutory requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to children and families to improve their circumstances. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
