We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's HOS - Safeguarding Team in Plymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to provide high-quality safeguarding services and support to vulnerable children and young people.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and legislation while promoting the welfare of children. Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to advocate for children’s best interests. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access relevant services and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all documentation meets statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with families and professionals.
