Senior Social Worker - Children and Families

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker specializing in Children and Families to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need. You will lead assessments, develop intervention plans, and ensure the well-being of vulnerable children while collaborating with various agencies and stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing intervention plans tailored to individual family situations.
  • Providing ongoing support and counseling to children and their families.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare professionals, and law enforcement.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential case records and documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized social work degree (BSW/MSW) and current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • At least 5 years of experience in social work, with a focus on children and families.
  • Strong knowledge of child welfare legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
