Single Point of Access (CSPoA) and Partnerships - Senior Social Worker l Reading
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Single Point of Access (CSPoA) and Partnerships team in Reading. This pivotal role will involve working collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess and respond to the needs of individuals and families in our community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to social work principles and demonstrate exceptional skills in partnership development, communication, and case management.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and partner agencies.
- Providing expert guidance and support to junior staff and students in the field.
- Building and maintaining effective partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for service users and enhance service delivery.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in social work, preferably within a similar setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
