We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Advanced Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Team in Bury. This pivotal role requires a passionate individual committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people. You will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services, leading on complex cases, and supporting the development of best practices within the team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing a caseload of complex safeguarding cases, ensuring timely and effective intervention. Providing expert guidance and support to social workers, promoting professional development and best practice. Conducting assessments and developing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and partner agencies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning for safeguarding initiatives. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local policies, while promoting a child-centered approach.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong knowledge of legislation and frameworks related to child protection and safeguarding. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
