Join our dedicated Fostering Team in Wokingham as a Qualified Social Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. In this vital role, you will work closely with foster families, children in care, and other professionals to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers and supporting their ongoing development. Managing a caseload of children and families, providing tailored support and interventions. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, BA Hons Social Work, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a fostering or child protection setting. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
