  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.
  • Providing support and guidance to foster carers and ensuring the welfare of children in placements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in a Children in Care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
