Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions.
  • Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders regarding safeguarding issues.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly within a MASH environment.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
