We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Wigan - AP - Duty Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, assessing the needs of vulnerable individuals, and implementing appropriate interventions to ensure their safety and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Conducting initial assessments and ongoing reviews to determine the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
