We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Cheshire West - SSW - Connected Peoples Team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering individuals and families to achieve positive outcomes and enhance their well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of individuals and families to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to vulnerable children, young people, and adults.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support and safeguarding.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of service users.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of services through reflective practice and feedback.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in working within a similar role in a statutory social work setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with service users, colleagues, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a complex caseload efficiently while prioritizing tasks.
