We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Liverpool-based Fostering Support and Supervision Team on an umbrella company basis, offering a competitive rate of £40 per hour. This role is crucial in ensuring the welfare and development of children in foster care, providing high-quality support to foster families, and promoting best practices within the fostering system.

As a member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular supervision and support sessions with foster carers to ensure their ongoing development and well-being.
  • Assessing the needs of children in foster care and developing tailored support plans in collaboration with foster families.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans, ensuring compliance with local authority policies and regulations.
  • Providing training and guidance to foster carers on best practices and legislative changes.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health and education professionals, to advocate for the best interests of children.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in fostering support and supervision, with a strong understanding of child welfare legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
