We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. As part of our team, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and working closely with children, families, and external agencies. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks. In addition, you will participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

  • Hold a recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
  • Be registered with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrate experience in child protection and working with children in care.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
