We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MASH Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Suffolk, offering a competitive rate of £39 per hour. As a vital part of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families, ensuring their welfare and protection. Your expertise will contribute to effective assessments, interventions, and collaborative working with various agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Collaborating with partner agencies to share information and develop comprehensive safeguarding plans. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding issues. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all casework.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in a MASH or safeguarding environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
