The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored care plans for children in care.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of children, ensuring their well-being and safety.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within a children’s social work setting, particularly with children in care.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork.
