Caritas Futures is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation supporting individuals and families affected by gambling-related harm. We are currently recruiting for a number of fully remote, rota-based positions across their national support services.

You will be part of a dedicated team providing confidential, non-judgemental support to individuals affected by their own gambling or the gambling of a loved one. As the first point of contact, you will deliver emotional support, undertake risk assessments, identify safeguarding concerns, and help service users access appropriate support pathways.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide support via telephone, live chat, and online platforms.Complete risk, welfare, and needs assessments, including safeguarding and crisis intervention.Deliver person-centred emotional and practical support to service users.Support individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, addiction, and financial difficulties.Signpost and refer individuals to specialist support services and treatment providers.Moderate online forums and digital support spaces where required.Essential Requirements

You will also have:

Strong knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessment.Experience supporting vulnerable adults and individuals with complex needs.Excellent communication and active listening skills.The ability to work independently within a remote environment.Flexibility to work rota-based shifts, including evenings and weekends where required.Availability to start ASAP.Why Work with Caritas Futures?
