Leicestershire - Social Worker A&C - Adults Safeguarding Team
Leicestershire County Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Adults Safeguarding Team. This pivotal role involves working with vulnerable adults to ensure their safety and well-being. As a Social Worker in this team, you will be responsible for assessing individual needs, developing support plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to safeguard the welfare of those in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk.
- Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in line with legislative frameworks.
- Working collaboratively with health professionals, families, and other agencies to provide holistic support.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and safeguarding investigations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
