Worcestershire - Adults Social Worker - Safeguarding

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adults Social Worker to join our Safeguarding team in Worcestershire. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within our community. As a qualified social worker, you will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and various agencies to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement safeguarding measures that prioritize the welfare of those we serve.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and potential safeguarding issues.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and support for individuals and their families.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with safeguarding protocols and legal requirements.
  • Providing advice, guidance, and support to individuals, families, and carers regarding safeguarding concerns.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, a thorough understanding of safeguarding legislation, and a commitment to promoting the rights and dignity of vulnerable adults. Experience in safeguarding and adult social work is highly desirable.
