We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Learning Disabilities/Autism Team in Leicestershire. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with learning disabilities and autism to identify their needs and preferences.
  • Developing and implementing personalized support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring they have access to appropriate services and resources.
  • Advocating for clients' rights and promoting their independence within the community.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
