We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Through Care Team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families within the care system.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support
  • Providing direct support and intervention services to children and families to promote positive outcomes
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best interests of the children and families are met
  • Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and other relevant meetings as required
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience working within a Through Care Team or similar setting
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
