Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adult service users to identify their needs and risks.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure effective service delivery and safeguarding interventions.
  • Providing advice and support to individuals, families, and carers regarding safeguarding issues.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in line with legal and organizational requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills with a commitment to person-centered practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
