We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CP - Sr. SW for a position in Stockton on Tees within the Qualified Social Work field. As a Senior Social Worker in Child Protection, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Undertake complex assessments of children and families, identifying risks and protective factors
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide expert advice and support to less experienced social workers
- Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews
- Conduct home visits and engage with children, families, and relevant stakeholders
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- Demonstrated experience in Child Protection and safeguarding
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
- Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills
