We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Fostering Service team at Hull City. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding vulnerable children and young people in need of foster care.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs of children and families to determine suitable fostering placements Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers to ensure the well-being of children in their care Conducting regular home visits and reviews to monitor the progress and development of children in foster placements Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and support for children and families Preparing and maintaining accurate and detailed case records and reports

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
