We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's ATM - Fostering Team in Bracknell. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to children and families in need of foster care services.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Assessing the needs of children and families to determine suitable fostering placements Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and development of children in care Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers to ensure the safety and stability of placements Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to advocate for the best interests of children Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and reviews to contribute to decision-making processesEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services Registered with Social Work England and up-to-date on CPD requirements Strong assessment and analytical skills to make informed decisions in complex situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and stakeholders Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment, prioritizing tasks and managing caseloads efficientlyAdditional requirements:
