We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our CIC Team in Redcar and Cleveland. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families involved in the care system.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Undertaking assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to promote their well-being and safety. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other multi-agency meetings. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other professionals.
