Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld. Monitoring and reviewing care plans regularly to assess progress and make necessary adjustments. Working closely with foster carers, schools, and other professionals to promote the best interests of children.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
