In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need. You will lead assessments, develop and implement care plans, and ensure that safeguarding practices are upheld in every interaction. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing guidance and supervision to junior social workers and support staff. Ensuring compliance with legislation and safeguarding policies. Engaging with families and communities to promote protective factors and resilience.To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse populations.
