We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Reading MASH/CSPOA Team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding children and supporting families in need. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to assess risk and deliver effective interventions, ensuring the well-being of vulnerable children and young people in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in accordance with statutory guidelines.
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to address identified needs.
- Collaborating with partner agencies, including health, education, and law enforcement, to safeguard children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
